It is a work commissioned by the coordinator of the anthology, Júlia Díez, for the publishing house Apache Libros

This is a very special work. The concept for it has been different since, instead of working from a series of stories, the stories have been created from my illustrations; on this occasion I have had total freedom to imagine a steampunk world.
But it is not a normal world. I do not like those works in which absolutely everything must be steampunk style. What happens to the lower classes of society? What happens to wars, to hardships, to the world of ordinary people? Steampunk technology is in the hands of a few who live oblivious to the world around them.
Technology is not abundant, it is not everywhere, but it is seen, it is noticed, it is felt.
